- Telephone HR support and advice for all your HR-related queries from our in-house highly qualified and experienced team will assist you directly and not via a call centre operative.
- The development and issue new employee contracts of employment for all staff.
- Creation and implementation of new company staff handbook
- We provide a bespoke, current and best practice suite of HR policies.
- Induction packages to help new staff understand and feel part of your business.
- We will write job descriptions and person specification for all roles within your business to help with responsibility and accountability.
- We write all your employment-related letters for you ourselves, not templates for you to complete.
- On-site work to support the business for typically two to four hours per month, which would include undertaking: sickness absence reviews, performance management, investigations, capability, disciplinary, grievance or appeals.
- Monthly leadership and HR management training for all existing and new leaders and those managing staff.
- We undertake Organisational Development work with you to help to build a strong, focused and high performing organisation.
- Settlement Agreements can be written for staff exiting the business.
- Access to BreatheHR, a GDPR compliant, cloud-based HR system to reduce and streamline your HR admin. The system provides access for your staff via a self service portal and works on all devices including all licenses, fully implemented and supported by People Matters HR. Some of the benefits include:
– Application and recording of holidays.
– Recording and reporting of sickness.
– Recording, reporting and reminders for performance appraisal.
– Recording of disciplinary and grievance processes.
– Confidential secure storage to manage all HR records - Optional insurance backing against tribunal by AXA.
- Two year contract.
- Option to add in ‘on-site hours.’
Need Health & Safety Support?
Businesses with growing businesses and more people have greater legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act. These include the need to have a Health and Safety Committee, H&S Policy and arrangements, a detailed document about how your business manages Health and Safety and identified risks. Access to professional and personal advice with a named “Competent person.” To support you with such an important area of your business, which can have dire consequences if you get things wrong, People Matters have put together an HR partnership-based Health & Safety sister package.

- Annual visit to your premises to carry out an inspection and provide advice
- Health and Safety Policy and arrangements
- Telephone support by our consultant.
- Additional consultancy day per year, which can be used for risk assessments, reviews etc.
- Bespoke elements to meet your requirements, for example additional days to spend more time on site, write additional documentation, carry out training or perhaps health surveillance by our Occupational Health Nurses.
- If you are a higher risk business you may need our consultant to acting an official capacity as your official H&S Competent person.
