Leadership Development Programme

Leadership Development Programme

Leadership Development is not a cost, it is a positive investment in your business.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, leadership is defined as “the action of leading a group of people or an organisation.” The essential focus lies on people, not solely on processes or things.

There is an old, but very true saying: “People join great businesses, but leave poor leaders.” As HR professionals we see this a lot. In most cases, this is not entirely the fault of the leaders themselves.

Most people learn a trade, go to university or receive training to carry out their role well. On this basis, they do well in that role. They are then promoted into management or leadership roles. However, in many cases, no thought is given to training and developing people for such important roles within the organisation. They do their best and often manage people the way they were managed since they don’t know any difference, with mixed results.

People Matters HR recognises that leadership is a skill. We believe in developing individuals to become effective leaders, enabling them to maximise the potential of their teams. By nurturing their employees’ abilities, engaging them effectively and enhancing their performance, businesses can improve overall organisational performance while simultaneously reducing recruitment costs and saving time.

People Matters HR develop leaders of organisations from potential leaders, up to CEOs of multi-national organisations. We design tailor-made, in-house development programs and facilitate open courses that bring SMEs and leaders from different businesses together. Through these courses, participants can learn from each other, share experiences and explore their roles as leaders.

We will cover:

Preparation

Before the first module you will be asked to complete two ‘Lumina’psychological profile questionnaires. Lumina Spark provides you with a greater enlightening insight into yourselves, your strengths and how you work and communicate with others.
